Team Kendall Racer of the Month - October 2012 - Jumpin' Joe Kremer

Joe Kremer, a 30-year racing veteran affectionately called "Jumpin' Joe" by friends and family, has been named Team Kendall's October Racer of the Month. Kremer joined Team Kendall in early 2012 after learning about the program from Marketer Joe Manning of Conrad & Bischoff. "As soon as I met Joe, I could tell he was passionate about racing," said Manning. "I'm pleased to be able to offer him support throughout the Team Kendall program, and I'm thrilled that he has been selected as Racer of the Month."

Kremer ended his first season with Team Kendall strong, finishing second in points for the track championship at Lost Creek Raceway in Anaconda, Mont. Facing a demanding year competing in the Pro division, Kremer earned a first-place finish in more than half of his races - including three wins in one weekend. This is an impressive feat due to the incredible precision it takes to race competitively with a manual transmission. According to Kremer, racing a 1970 Oldsmobile 442 is the biggest yet most fun challenge he faces because the majority of drivers use an automatic transmission.

Kremer's attention to detail has made him a strong driver, but it also extends beyond the track. In fact, he prides himself on maintaining a meticulous engine and does a thorough tune up before each race. "I use a variety of Kendall Motor Oil lubricants for all my vehicles - I love them!" he raves. "My race car's engine has been put through a lot of abuse over the last few years, but I've noticed that it still holds up really well - and I know I can thank Kendall for that."

Next year, Kremer hopes to take home the track championship title at Lost Creek Raceway and he looks forward to reconnecting with his friends out on the track. "Winning is great, but the camaraderie we have built on the raceway is definitely my favorite thing about racing," he shared. "I can't wait to get back out there next year!"

We congratulate veteran racer Jumpin' Joe Kremer on being Team Kendall's Racer of the Month for October and wish him the best of luck in 2013!
