GEAR SHIELD® SYNTHETIC
CHLORINE-FREE, SOLVENT-CUTBACK SYNTHETIC OPEN GEAR LUBRICANT
Phillips 66® Gear Shield Synthetic is a high-performance, adhesive, synthetic-based gear lubricant designed with a low-viscosity sacrificial diluent for easy application. Its transparent formulation makes it ideal for open and semi-enclosed gears on stationary equipment such as ball mills, rod mills, kilns, and paper mills.
Engineered for demanding applications, Gear Shield Synthetic delivers exceptional load-carrying capacity to protect heavily loaded gears from scoring and galling. It forms a durable, tenacious film that adheres firmly to metal surfaces without hardening or flaking at low temperatures. This protective layer resists water washout and shields gears from rust and corrosion, ensuring reliable performance in harsh conditions.
