SEVERE-DUTY, EXTREME-PRESSURE INDUSTRIAL GEAR OIL
Phillips 66® GLW is a premium extreme-pressure (EP) industrial gear oil designed for heavily loaded enclosed gear drives operating in wet or dry environments under severe conditions. Its advanced formulation quickly separates from water, ensuring effective lubrication even in contaminated settings. This makes it ideal for industrial and mining equipment where an AGMA EP gear oil with superior water-separating properties is required.
GLW provides exceptional lubricity and wear protection, maintaining high film strength and load-carrying capacity even in the presence of water and other contaminants. It protects against rust and corrosion to extend equipment life, resists oxidation and thermal breakdown at high temperatures, and incorporates "clean gear" additive technology to reduce deposits and maintain gearbox cleanliness. The oil also offers excellent seal compatibility, resists foam buildup, and ensures reliable performance in demanding applications.
Recommended for Komatsu (formerly Joy Machinery) longwall mining equipment and other heavy duty industrial and mobile machinery, GLW is well suited for operations exposed to extreme loads and water contamination.
