HIGH PERFORMANCE GEAR OIL

HIGH-PERFORMANCE, FRICTION-MODIFIED AUTOMOTIVE GEAR LUBRICANT

Phillips 66® High Performance Gear Oil is a heavy duty API GL-5 automotive gear lubricant engineered for racing applications. Additionally, it provides excellent protection for passenger car and truck axles with conventional or limited-slip differentials.

This gear oil features a thermally stable, durable additive package enhanced with extreme-pressure (EP) and antifoam additives to protect gear sets under severe conditions, including high speeds, temperatures, and loads. Its balanced formulation minimizes oxidative sludge and varnish, reduces wear, prevents scoring, and guards against metal fatigue and spalling under shock-load conditions.

Friction modified to reduce chatter in limited-slip and positraction axles, High Performance Gear Oil is suitable for initial fills of new or rebuilt limited-slip differentials. It’s also ready for use for top-offs or refills after complete drains.
